How these estimates are built
Charter is priced on aircraft flight time, not distance alone. We model billable hours from your route's great-circle distance and each cabin's cruise speed, add the industry-standard ~2-hour daily minimum and a repositioning allowance, then apply the 7.5% federal excise tax on domestic legs (international legs add customs and handling instead). The published range reflects the real spread in operator hourly rates, an honest band, never false precision.
